Idea Journal 3 from Pengeneee Peng
Fantasy. Everyone has fantasies. Superhero fantasies? That is one fantasy that drives most testosterone. In this assignment, we got to imagine our given objects as superheroes. This is an exercise that I can tell you from the bottom of my heart, I had fun. If there is anything I learnt, that is let the beast in my mind run free. Nevertheless, building a relationship between my object and superhero took some brain cells. It is still an assignment that need to be done according to few guidelines but nobody say playing can't be part of the assignment. Honestly speaking, I could have done better if not for the hectic schedule of works. All in all, the perfectionist me will not allow myself to submit a floppy work so this is my best at the moment. I am happy that I adhere to this policy of mine even if It costs some time and hormone.
As you can see from my work, I created a problem first by listing out raffia string's weaknesses and enemies. Then, I tried to think of superpowers that can overcome these weaknesses. From the research for my previous works, I identified the characteristic of raffia string and pick a few disadvantageous traits as the weaknesses. Then, from one superpower, I derived other abilities and different uses of the power to associate with the main superpower.
