Business Assignment 3 - Role Play

Group Member: Peh Ker Neng, Tan Shing Yeou, Preston Liew, Ling Hui Sim, Shirley Liew, Jason Lee

This role play is an in-class exercise to test our understanding regarding the Maslow's hierarchy of needs. Choose whichever level of need and act out a scene that abide to this theory. 

In my group's role play, Alvin acted as a lecturer who is constantly harrassed by her students. Preston was the leader of the harrassment. The students constantly disturb the lecture and ignore the lecturer's words. This shows precisely the lecturer's need of self-esteem. She wants to be respected and needed by her students.

Reflection

Understanding the Maslow's hierarchy of needs can be helpful to identify the society's need and start a business to fulfill the need. This piece of knowledge can be useful in the upcoming business project. Finding a good need is essential in starting a business so that less loss is suffered. This hierarchy also teaches us about what people around us really wants. In this way, there will less misunderstanding as we understand each more.
